Am I able to add, remove or modify the items in my subscription?

Yes, under Subscriptions within your account, you can modify the items in your subscription by selecting the Edit option. 

To CHANGE or SWAP the items for a different product, select Edit, then scroll down to "Swap for a different product" 

To REMOVE an item from a subscription, select the product in the list of items in your subscription. 

Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and select Cancel Subscription 

To Add items, Select Next Order within your subscription:

Scroll down and select Browse All

Here, you can add more items to your Subscription.
